Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG Germany is one of Europe’s most modern processing facilities for dried vegetable, herbs, spices, mushrooms and precooked pulses. As a specialised foodstuff refining centre, we offer comprehensive system solutions and cleaning methods for the processing of raw produce. Depending on the customer’s needs and wishes, these products can be transformed into granulate or ground into powder. Each year our approximately 150 employees in Ritschenhausen, Germany, process more than 10 thousand tonnes of dried vegetables, herbs, spices and mushrooms, as well as natural raw ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, roughly 1000 tonnes of precooked pulses are produced.
With the Kündig Food Safety Tower ®, we have a market-leading innovation for highly reliable foreign matter management at our disposal, and thus have taken yet a further step in ensuring the safety and quality of foodstuffs. For storage treatment and germ reduction, we offer options such as CO2 pressure disinfestation, PH3 fumigation and BIOSTERIL ® degerming. All of these refining possibilities can also be applied in contract processing.
