The Kündig Group further demonstrates its abilities in food safety and quality management. The Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG in Germany is awarded with GMP + and receives VLOG certification for the production of animal feed.
High quality animal feed is an important factor for the safety of food. The Kündig Group regularly invests in high-quality production facilities and continuously optimizes its processes. The GMP + certification confirms that the company meets the requirements of food safety by an independent authority. This proves that the production site fulfils the criteria with regard to storage, transport, procedures and documentation. Since the summer of 2018, the products and processes of Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH have also met the VLOG (Without Genetic Engineering) production and testing standards, whereby animal feed can be labelled as “VLOG tested”. This ensures that animal feed of Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH contains no genetically engineered ingredients and enables customer to make an informed choice.
